Folk Dance; 2020
I was inspired by the varied types of traditional Filipino dance that is still practiced today. I wanted to reflect the diversity within the Philippines--as well as a celebration of culture. To me, the vision I have for activism in the future is a celebration of identity and connecting to our roots--as that personally is my journey to reconnect to my background.
